Introducing my 2021 planners as PDFs and InDesign documents that are for selling on Amazon KDP.
There are a variety of different planner interiors in the package:
- weekly planners and monthly planners
- planners with and without Bible quotes,
- different sizes (Letter Size, 8.5 x 11 inch; 21.59 x 27.94 cm; 6 x 9 in; 15.2 x 22.9 cm; 5 x 8 in; 12.7 x 20.32 cm)
- different languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch)
For every PDF document, there are two InDesign documents: the INDD as well as the IDML (which can be opened in any version of InDesign CC and CS4 or greater). And, if you don’t know how to use InDesign, then you can just buy the PDFs.
Why buy these planners?
Planners sell well on Amazon. (I couldn’t believe this at first, but they do!)
It’s quite hard to show how much money I make from selling planners on Amazon because I have so many of them. But this is what happens when I search my books by the keyword “2020” to show how many 2020 planners I’ve sold so far in 2020!
So, between the beginning of 2020 and mid-September 2020, I’ve made over $1500 profit from just 182 books (notice the March and April, COVID lockdown lull!). Bear in mind that they will have sold as much in the last few months of 2019 as well, and that they keep on selling.
Here’s the earnings of just one particularly successful 2019 planner that started selling back in September 2018. Two years later, it’s still selling!
This particular 2019 planner has sold over 450 times, netting me $1,163.50 in profit, and it’s still selling! (The above planner is a monthly planner).
The products I’m selling are the planner interiors. All you have to do is to create a cover for the planners and upload at KDP (which can take 10 minutes). And, within a few hours, your planner will be for sale on Amazon (in the US, the UK, Germany, India, and most places where Amazon has a presence).

The complete 2021 Planners Calendars PDFs and InDesign Documents for Download is $99. This includes all the planners in all the languages.
Remember, you should only buy the above package if you want to edit the documents in Adobe InDesign.
Alternatively you can buy the complete 2021 Planner set PDFs in all languages (with no InDesign documents).
Both the weekly and monthly planners have versions with Bible quotes with a handpicked Bible quote on the right-hand page. And those sell quite well, but obviously have to be marketed to that particular niche (churchgoers, Christians, etc.)
They are in the usual sizes that sell on Amazon, 8.5×11, 6×9 and 5×8.
They’re all translated into Spanish, Italian, German, French, English, and Dutch. However, the Dutch and Italian don’t have the Bible quotes, just the Spanish, German, French, and English have the Bible quotes.
These planners can be converted easily in the future!
In InDesign, if you go View > Show Text Threads, and then with the Selection tool, select one of the text frames, you can see how all the dates are linked in text threads. This enables you to convert one week to another week, one month to another month, and, ultimately, a 2021 planner to a 2022 planner. By shunting the date number along you can change one month to another month comparatively easily, rather than putting the dates in individually which would be time-consuming.

Hi Rob
If I use PowerPoint instead of InDesign, can these be converted?
Rob Cubbon says
Hi Joe, no! I’m sorry. InDesign files can only be opened in Adobe InDesign and I do stress that you should only buy the InDesign documents version if you have Adobe InDesign and you know how to use it!
Joe says
Ok thanks!
Jennifer says
Hi Rob! Indesign shows it’s $20 a month. Is this a program I can use and then turn the service off or do I need to have it available monthly?
Rob Cubbon says
Hello Jennifer, I wouldn’t get InDesign just for this one thing. It is expensive. There are ways of getting it for free. You can get it for free if you’re a student, for example. All this info should be available on the Adobe site. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Rob,
It was a great article! I read your article a little late, but I think I could use these next year. It looks like a great deal, and I was wondering if you have something for 2022 as well. I would love to get my hands on them, and I will definitely be sharing this with other people in my network as well. Thanks a lot for sharing this amazing resource, and do let me know about 2022 ones.
Rob Cubbon says
Thank you, John, I’ve been doing these calendars for a few years. Unfortunately, I decided to give it a rest for this year as it was a lot of work. However you can use these “out of date” calendars to make new ones, if you know how to use Adobe InDesign.
