Bright vibrant colors in a vector illustration will cause the visitor to stop and stare more, in my opinion. It worked quite well and allowed me to be quite daring in the design of the site. Normal photography can really make a page wonderful but characters like these two makes it so much more fun to read a page with soooo much text. Illustrator saves you so much time.
