About Rob Cubbon

Rob Cubbon

I am a freelance graphic designer and creative artworker for print and web, based in London UK, with nearly 20 years experience.

If you have any sort of design job to do I will either be able to do it or know someone who can. I’m also highly experienced in the related fields of copy writing/editing, typography, photo re-touching, illustration, photography, marketing and advertising.

Click on the above links Print Design, Web Design and Artwork beneath the header for examples of my work. I work using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Quark, etc. in studios in London on just about every kind of design for print and web you can think of.

I have experience designing and artworking for newspapers, magazines, advertising agencies, publishers, design consultants, marketing communications and in studios for telecommunications companies, computer games companies, banks and the public sector.

I have designed and artworked books, brochures, packaging, mailshots, ads, interactive PDFs, posters, flyers, business stationery, signage, FSDUs, websites, presentations, HTML emails, etc.

Wedding pictureMost of the rest of the site is about design, London, freelancing, games and other stuff that comes along.

Here is a brief bio:

I was born in Kent, England, in 1968. I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of East London in Cultural Studies in 1989 and shortly afterwards started working, doing picture research, editing, writing, photography and design for various magazines and national newspapers. I worked abroad as English teacher in Portugal (1994) and Brazil (2002).

I have been a creative artworker, graphic designer and creative director for print and web since 1995 working in marketing, advertising and working in design studios for diverse areas from banking to gaming. Most importantly, I was married to Marina in 2006.

  6. Thanks Brian and Goorooduth Sham.

I am lucky that a few brave individuals from large companies have contacted me through this website, Brian. It’s pertinent to say that they are not from the corporate design departments but busy executives that want something doing. I have to say that these big companies’ executives can be some of the best and most creative people to work for!

Welcome, Goorooduth Sham, if there’s any advice you want please get in touch.
