Naughty November … Xmas is coming!

It never ceases to amaze me how sensitive freelancing is to economic fluctuations. After a prolonged and lucrative indian summer I have spent the last two weeks with very little. A lot of the agencies are saying the same thing. Yet I’m living in a city of ten million people and the centre of one of the largest economies that habitually excretes more than it’s fair share of publishing and advertising material. One consultant said to me, “it’s the American mid-terms!” Oh!
I have David St Martin at Greythorn to thank for two days this week and two days last week which was next to Selfridges. The Christmas lights are exactly the same as last year!
