Using Flash and Photoshop to create beautiful scenes, hidden object games are an ideal distraction for relaxed gamers.
Here are four I got from Big Fish Games at $20 a go.
Three of them are in the Mystery Case Files series: Huntsville, Prime Suspects and Ravenhearst. Ravenhearst is definitely the best. Set in a Victorian English country house, it has some great point and click puzzles at the end of the hidden object rounds as well as an engrossing ghost story running through it. See below.

Paris 360º, however, is a different kettle of fish. Set in modern Paris, gamers can drag through panoramas of the French capital and surrounding châteaux. Sounds and looks good, unfortunately there is too much repetition of scenes and objects and soon gets boring.

Big Fish Games are much cheaper now. They are $6.99 per game.
True, Gamer, I just got the latest Mystery Case Files.
I love hidden object games. The mac games give lot of games of this variety.
Re: Creating hidden object games
Hello. Do you all know of any softwares that can be used to create flash hidden object games for PCs?
Regards,
Annette
I love these games too, Rajasimha.
I don’t know, Annette they look as though they’re created in Flash but you could ask in a Flash forum.
Thanks for your reply and advice, Rob. I will locate a Flash forum.
Best regards,
Annette
