Above are two or three examples of comments from spammers that were the reason for me putting back the rel=nofollow from the comments in this blog. They haven’t bothered to read the post and they have left meaningless comments that don’t benefit anyone.

Unfortunately I ended up on a few sites that posted links to dofollow blogs and I got spammed by just about every idiot who thinks writing “nice post, dude” on my site is going to get them a bit of link juice from Google and money from Adsense. Wrong!

I think it's nice to see a bit a feedback after posts. I still have the plugin activated – I've had no real bad spam issues so far. I noticed Akismet needed an upgrade recently and, for me, that keeps the worse at bay.
